Make Your Own Events

Have you ever had the wish to make an event in CdR? Host an own Chat RP event? Design EC's and work out your own ideas?

Well, if your answer is YES, you'll most certainly like this.

Members are allowed to host their own events in CdR!

If you're interested, please read the following information carefully, for it is important to know everything about designing events.

TYPES OF EVENTS

First of all, before planning out your event in its details, you have to decide what kind of event you're going to do.

There are the 3 types of events you can make:

| 1. ART / LITERATURE EVENT |

| 2. CHAT EVENT |

| 3. OTHER EVENTS |

ART / LITERATURE EVENT

The name of this type of event clearly states what it is about : You set up a certain theme, idea, maybe even a little plot ;

People then may draw / write about your setting.
This event can be extremely free, you can basically do everything

you'd like. HOWEVER : It has to be canon, moreover, realistic. Making a Blind Date Event is fine, but

designing a ''Pair your OC up with a character from a popular manga / anime'' is not appropriate.

For crack events, please view the OTHER EVENTS box further down in this journal.

CHECKLIST FOR YOUR ART / LITERATURE EVENT

:bulletwhite: DURATION

Tell us when the beginning of the event is and how long it'll last.

:bulletwhite: SHORT INTRODUCTION

You probably noticed already - but usually, when CdR has a new event up, one of the mods' characters introduces

the event. It would be nice if you made your OC speak up and tell us a bit about the event from their perspective-

It's always nice to see some nice little IC talk; a picture on the top of the journal is optional, but not necessary.

(Though it is highly recommended you made one, since it'll look way better and probably motivate

more people to participate)

:bulletwhite: QUICK INFO

In this part, you can fully explain everything. Details, what your theme / plot / setting is, what you want the

people to draw, etc. ; The more details, thought out ideas and information, the better. Let your creativity run wild!

:bulletwhite: EC's

If you'd like to, you are allowed to make an EC (Event Character) for your event.

:bulletwhite: GENERAL SUBMISSION RULES

Please answer these questions in this part:

- ART submissions allowed ? | Yes / No |

- LITERATURE submissions allowed ? | Yes / No |

If you have all the information you need, design a little journal. I suggest just checking out our current journals;

| 2. ALL INFORMATION YOU HAVE FROM YOUR CHECKLIST |

:bulletblue: DONE EVERYTHING? CONTACT US~!

Send CdR a note with ALL information.

(This includes the link to the journal, maybe even the filled out checklist)

We'll come back to your event as soon as possible. Please keep in mind that you'll probably have to wait a bit for our reply

since we have to check everything.

CHAT EVENT

Chat Events are RP Events held in one of our chats. By making a Chat Event you'll be able to moderate the RP in a

certain way, affect other characters and their reactions.
If you've never been in a chat event before, I suggest first

participating in one before making one yourself. It takes a bit to understand everything, but below you'll see how

Chat Events work if you want to host one.

For crack events, please view the OTHER EVENTS box further down in this journal

IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR CHAT EVENTS

:bulletwhite: 1. INTRO & OBJECTIVE

a ) Every Chat Event has an INTRO. The intro is the beginning of the RP - try to make it interesting, but not give away

too much of the RP idea ; Get people interested ~!

Example for an INTRO:

Incoherent screaming can be heard from the bathing halls- You follow the noise as it's gets louder and louder with every

step you take. Just at the entrance you notice something very... disturbing. Red, oily liquid is spread all over the ground in

front of the door ...

I wonder what's happening... Maybe you should go and ... check if everything's alright...?

b ) Every Chat Event also has an OBJECTIVE. When you fulfill your objective you may end the RP. Make sure to

know you're objective BEFORE you start the RP, it's important. You are not allowed to tell your objective

anybody but the mods.

Example for an OBJECTIVE

Find the bloodlusty bathroom demon and get rid of him.

:bulletwhite: 2. GODMOD POSTS

Godmods Posts are posts that affect the storyline of your Chat Event; They can affect all OCs, one

OC or several OCs. Godmod posts have to be posted bold.

Example for a GM POST

Something extremely heavy bumps against the door. It seems to want to break out -

:bulletwhite: 3. EFFECTS

When doing a Chat Event you're going to come to a point where certain users will get certain 'Effects'.

Basically, you can let certain 'things' happen to the participants.

In order to be able to do these effects, you have to tell the other users they need to post a certain

number after their posts. The numbers can be random. Basically you can say something like this: Use

numbers from 1-20. As your RP continues, you'll get to the point where ( we're going to use the

example I used above ) the bathroom demon will harm somebody by slashing them down.

If you want somebody to get the effect 'getting slashed down by a demon', state that towards

the others, so they know which effect is going to happen.

Then, you have to roll the dice.

Our awesome Mod Shin has made a little bot that works like a dice.

This is how you use it:

While you're in chat, just type the following :

?1d20

a ) '1' is the number of people that you want to get affected by the demon

b ) '20' is the amount of numbers you have told the members they can choose from.

=> A number will show up. You now have to see if anybody of the participants posted

that specific number after their RP post.

If somebody has the number, then congratulations, you just got slashed down by a bathroom demon.

=>  However, this is only an example on how you can distribute Effects. You can use the

dice rolls differently as well, if you are more comfortable like that. Just make sure you talk it over with us first.

:bulletwhite: 3. KEEP A CHAT LOG

If you don't save the RP somewhere, you won't get any points for it and neither will the other users

get some ~! You have to keep the Chat Log and then send it to the group afterwards so we can give points for it ;

:bulletwhite: 4. ONLY DA CHAT EVENTS

Your Chat Event can only be held in the dA RP chats. You can choose whether you want to use the Literate

RP Chat or the normal RP Chat ;

:bulletwhite: 5. IF YOU'RE STUCK

If you need quick help about the dice rolls or such, type this in the dA chat

?help

:bulletwhite: 6. GOT QUESTIONS?

Ask Mama Shintari ; Just send her a note and I can guarantee you won't have questions anymore~! ❤

CHECKLIST FOR YOUR CHAT EVENT

:bulletwhite: TIME

Tell us the date you plan your Chat Event to be and the time it'll start ( Please tell us your timezone ~! );

Remember: It's possible that the Mods will tell you to change the date due to other events going

on. Please respect our opinions on that since we need to deal with the time schedule for the group;

:bulletwhite: RP INTRO

Please send us the beginning of your RP Event.

:bulletwhite: QUICK INFO

- Where is the RP held? | RP Chat / Literate RP Chat |

- Lit RP or Script RP? | Lit / Script / Both |

- Order? | By the dA chat list, from top to bottom / Other Order |

- Are there EC's? | Yes / No |

:bulletwhite: EC's

If you'd like to, you are allowed to make an EC (Event Character) for your event.

If you have all the information you need, design a little journal. I suggest just checking out our current journals;

Or, in short :

| 1. Your OC introducing the Event / picture or something / INTRO |

| 2. ALL INFORMATION YOU HAVE FROM YOUR CHECKLIST |

OTHER EVENTS

'Other Events' are events that don't really fit the two above event types. There are a broad variety of things you could do -

here are some little examples :

1. Contests

2. Poll-Oriented Events (CdR's next topmodel is an example for this one)

3. Crack Events (eventually)

4. Bigger Organized Collabs

5. Art Trade Events

and many more ...

CHECKLIST FOR YOUR 'OTHER' EVENT

:bulletwhite: DURATION

Tell us when the beginning of the event is and how long it'll last.

:bulletwhite: SHORT INTRODUCTION

You probably noticed already - but usually, when CdR has a new event up, one of the mods' characters

introduces the event. It would be nice if you made your OC speak up and tell us a bit about the event

is optional, but not necessary. (Though it is highly recommended you made one, since it'll look way

better and probably motivate more people to participate)

:bulletwhite: QUICK INFO

Basically, please tell us everything about your event. We cannot post questions here since they vary

depending on what kind of event you do. Just make sure to write everything up, and we'll ask

questions if we want more information about your event ;;

:bulletwhite: EC's

If you'd like to, you are allowed to make an EC (Event Character) for your event.

:bulletwhite: POINTGIVING

Do the others get points for your event? If so, how many and for what exactly will they get points?

Tell us everything we need to know.

If you have all the information you need, design a little journal. I suggest just checking out our current journals;

Or, in short :

| 1. Your OC introducing the Event / picture or something / INTRO |

| 2. ALL INFORMATION YOU HAVE FROM YOUR CHECKLIST |

Send CdR a note with ALL information.

(This includes the link to the journal, maybe even the filled out checklist)

We'll come back to your event as soon as possible. Please keep in mind that you'll probably have to wait a bit for our reply

since we have to check everything.

POINTS ?

Of course you'll get extra points if you make an event for the group - the amount of points however has to be decided by the mods;

We'll make sure to tell you exactly how many points you got when we're ready.

EVERY EVENT HAS TO BE CHECKED SPECIFICALLY

We Mods have to decide whether you're event will happen or not - we're going to give our best at checking

your events and provide help or critique if needed ; Please respect our opinions if you need to change / reimage

a part of your event or concept, we're only doing it for the greater good. Trust us O v O ❤ ;;

And now guys ~ Have fun realizing your own ideas~! = u = ❤
